Data Center Technician, Intern: Apply here!
Meta runs one of the largest server fleets in the world. The Data Center Technician Intern role puts you inside it - on the FORCE team (Fleet Operations, Reliability and Central Engineering), working on real hardware in a live production environment with structured mentorship and a team lead reviewing your work.
We're hiring interns across five U.S. sites for a 12-week paid internship that takes place from June 7 - August 27, 2027. We invite you to register for this event to learn more about what the job actually looks like.
Interns follow the same learning path as our full-time technicians - data center fundamentals, procedure execution (MOPs), hardware troubleshooting - and contribute to the documentation our global teams rely on. The scale and volume of problems you'll see isn't something coursework or typical IT support can replicate.
Who should attend?
Students currently enrolled in an Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's program in a technology-related field. We’re hiring interns who bring Linux command-line basics, a foundational understanding of computer hardware, and an interest in networking fundamentals.
If you'd rather be on a data center floor than behind a desk, this event is for you!
